| The publications of the Documentary Film Centre deal with the current situation in the documentary film industry, as well as its historical developments. They comprise an active investigation into the field of documentary filmmaking.
Papers from conferences and recent studies are published by the Documentary Film Centre in its series Close Up (UVK Publishing Houses Konstanz) or as broschures.
Furthermore, the presentations and discussions at Dokville, the annual convention of the documentary film industry, are published each year. In addition, the Centre offers the extensively researched “History of Documentary Film in Germany 1895-1945” (Reclam Publishing Houses, Stuttgart).
